The Kenneth P. Burbidge Jr. Family Academic Center, which underwent a $2.1 million expansion in 2018, is a first class academic facility.
The 15,500-square foot, two-story building is known for its aesthetics, technological offerings and academic service. The Burbidge Center features student-athlete lounges, expansive computer lab, private study and tutor booths, large group study classrooms, several quiet study classrooms, special instruction rooms, and offices for student-athlete support personnel.
In an effort to better serve Utah's student-athletes, a new 4,500-square-foot west wing was added in 2018. The project included a new lower-level entrance with a lounge area that provides easier access from the Sorenson High Performance Center, team locker rooms, training room, fueling station, weight room, and the Jon M. Huntsman Center arena.
