Park City Mountain Resort
Located in the heart of Park City, Utah, only a 35-minute drive from Salt Lake City International Airport, Park City is home to over 7,300 skiable acres.
During the summer of 2015, the resort undertook the largest resort improvement project in the history of American skiing, one that linked it with neighbor Canyons Resort to create the United States’ largest ski area. Park City bustles with activities year-round with two distinct base areas, nine hotels, thrilling family adventures, and more than two dozen restaurants.
Park City is the largest ski area in the United States. With 300+ trails, 38 lifts, seven terrain parks, 14 bowls, six natural half pipes, one super pipe and one mini pipe, plus many diverse ski-in/ski-out and village adjacent lodging properties, Park City is an easily accessible, world-class mountain destination located in an authentic & historic western town.
Fan Info:
Soldier Hollow
Once the site of what was once a small Native American encampment, and in the 1850s a stopover for a group of Army surveyors, Soldier Hollow emerged from obscurity in the winter of 2002 as the immensely popular site of the Olympic cross country and biathlon events. Soldier Hollow also hosted the cross country skiing portions of Nordic combined, and in March 2002 held the cross country skiing and biathlon events for the Paralympics.
Clearly establishing Soldier Hollow as a world acclaimed facility, the Olympics also provided Soldier Hollow with an infrastructure that could not only host future elite competitions such as U.S. National Championships and World Cups, but could also stage a wide range of events.
